Welcome
The Lucy Knox Chapter, NSDAR, was organized May 11, 1996, due to the efforts of twenty Daughters living in the Knox County, Ohio area. The first informational meeting was held in October 1995, and by May all of the arrangements for chartering had been met.
The chapter was named for Lucy Knox, wife of General Henry Knox, for whom Knox County was named.

Any woman 18 or older who can prove descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible.

In Service to Knox County
Our members live and serve across Knox County. We place wreaths at commemorative events and host grave marking ceremonies for the American Revolutionary War patriots buried here. We sponsor history and citizenship contests for local students, support community classrooms with books and supplies, and stand behind our veterans and their families.
Celebrating America’s 250th
The Daughters of the American Revolution are marking the 250th anniversary of American independence. On September 17, 2026, our chapter opened Constitution Week with We the People, a community reading of the U.S. Constitution. See photos from the event.
